F: Notize the black frame between the diaphram and the liver. There is a positiv bronchopneumogram at the lingula.

H: Adult man, 36-years-old, smoker admitted with severe epigastrical pain radiating to the back three days ago.

INFO/WWW: Peptic ulcers may occure in the esophagus, the stomach, duodenum and Meckel`s diverticulum. Exacerbating factors are e.g. stress, smoking, alcohol, NSAID-steroids and Helicobacter pylori. The main dangers are gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation and erodation into other adjacent structures. Perforation may cause Pneumoperitoneum (air between e.g. the diaphram and liver or outside the bowel wall).

D: Pneumoperitoneum (free air in the peritoneal cavity between e.g. the diaphram and liver) caused by perforated duodenal ulcer. Bronchopneumonic infiltration at the lingula. Notize the canal of a drain.
