SARCOIDOSIS
- The cause of this disease is unknown. Sarcoidosis is characterized by non-caseating
granulomata and may affect any organ (extrathoracic sarcoidosis e.g. erythema
nodosum) at any age. Most commonly it affects chests of young adults, especially
blacks.
