A pharyngeal
pouch arises between the superior and the middle pharyngeal constictors
- a congenitally weak point of the pharyngeal wall. In large pharyngeal pouches
food debris - not digested - may be found - especially in the morning. Accompanied
with bad taste and bad oral smell. There my be also dyphagia.
