H: Young man (22), fever (38°C), Pain in his ankles. Painfull, nodular swellings praetibial.

INFO/WWW-LINKS: SARCOIDOSIS - The cause of this disease is unknown. Sarcoidosis is characterized by non-caseating granulomata and may affect any organ (extrathoracic sarcoidosis e.g. erythema nodosum) at any age. Most commonly it affects chests of young adults, especially blacks. Differential Diagnosis

D: Bilateral hilar lymphadenopathy (BAL) in acute sarkoidosis (Loefgren-Syndrom).
